For 3 years my position was Right-Side for Club, and both Mid/Right-Side for Middle School, JV & Varsity High School. During Club tryouts in Nov 17' my Club Director and other coaches agreed I should change to Setter because of natural talent, being left-handed and 5'10". I am now 5'11". Because it is my desire to play volleyball in college, I'm continuing to train as a setter and run a 6-2 with my Club team, PVC 18 Elite, and I was a 6 rotation RS for my High School this past fall and earned both All State and All Conference. With experience playing both Setter and Right-Side, I feel this could be beneficial to a college team. I have served as Captain of my Club team and was Captain of my JV team, and I truly believe I've been given the gift of leadership. At my Middle School Graduation, one of the faculty described me as fearless. She stated "You consistently demonstrate a strong sense of self, in the classroom, on the volleyball court, and with friendships. Others follow, sensing that confidence you have in what you say and do." I have been recognized for "Best Attitude" in my grammar school years and my parent's friends and others are always stating how joyful I am. Volleyball, team sports, and all that is involved in athletics brings me great joy, and so I hope I have the opportunity to play in college and I look forward to studying business/marketing.
