Hi, my name is Angelica Biele and I am a rising Senior at West Carteret High School. I was the starting setter and played all the way around on a 6-2 rotation. We made it to the 3rd rounds and finished the season with a record of 23-2. This past school year I was taking high level Honors classes and Educational Electives such as Health Science II and AP Psychology. I am planning on attending a college that offers a medical curriculum and obviously a volleyball program in which I can learn and excel my game. Last school year I played on Topsail High's Varsity Volleyball Team. I was the starting setter as well as both outside and opposite hitters. For this past club season I was the captain of Grand Strand Junior's 18's Black and I ran our offence as the only setter on the team. I will hopefully be continuing with this club up until I graduate to help better my game. I think I will be a good candidate for your team because I am a team leader and I am willing to work hard for anything and everything. I love volleyball but my grades have to come first. I am currently maintaining a 4.37 GPA and getting straight "A's" in all of my classes. I plan to keep building my GPA by taking all Honors, AP, and college courses this year. In closing I would like to personally thank you for taking your time to read my entire personal statement that probably sounds like all the rest of them. There is one difference with me however; if you cut me... I bleed volleyball.
