Hi,
My name is Jillian Blankley and I have been playing volleyball for 5 years . I am 16 and currently a junior at Topsail High school. I am 5”8 and usually play Setter/Opposite. I know I would be a great candidate for your team because not only am I very coachable but I‘m also a determined athlete and highly competitive. On the court, I strive to be the most positive version of myself, encouraging my teammates to be, as well. I’m a great asset to any team because I take criticism very well, knowing the intention is for the betterment of the team, as a whole. I tirelessly continue to work on any deficiencies identified until they are perfected. I stay very focused on the court to be the most excellent version of myself and will not accept anything less than greatness. I have very high expectations of myself, which makes me stronger and a more confident athlete. In school, studying and excelling in academics are of paramount importance, as I want to be accepted into a great college. I am successful in managing school and travel volleyball and in doing so, my time management has excelled. My dream is to be an asset to a great college team of amazing people and athletes!
Respectfully,
Jillian Blankley
