My name is Layla Baer and I am currently a Junior at North Mecklenburg HS. I am an OH/OP/MB for a Carolina Juniors VB semi-national team and have been playing on my high school's Varsity volleyball team since I was a freshman. I aspire to play collegiate volleyball. While I've only played volleyball for three years, it is my absolute world!!
Years of involvement in various sports, such as competitive gymnastics and cheerleading, have made me both coachable, adaptable and very competitive.
I also maintain a high GPA, take IB, AP, and Honors coursework and while volleyball is my everything, academics are extremely important to me as well. I strive to have a positive outlook on life and motivate others when I can. Work hard, play harder!
