My goals at to become a better volleyball player. I absolutely love volleyball with everything in me and yes I am short but that just gives me another reason to push harder. I’m different because I will not give up no matter how hard the task is. If my coach gives me a task I will do it even if it’s hard because you’re my coach and you know what you’re doing so i’ll just have to listen to you. I am just a small town girl who loves to play volleyball. I used to be a troubled kid. Nobody could tell me anything, I always needed to have to have the last word and I was always mad and getting into trouble. Then I got to middle school and started playing sports when I was in 6th grade and my 7th grade year was my first year playing volleyball. I really loved playing volleyball my 7th and 8th grade year because it took my mind off of everything that made me mad and I wasn’t getting in trouble. Volleyball really changed me for the better because it was easy for me to let me anger out when I hit the ball and volleyball showed me it’s more to myself than just anger. That’s when I became the captain of my middle school team. My freshman year in High School I kind of slipped back into my old ways. I was trying to be all cool and trying to fit in and I forgot the whole reason I started playing volleyball. My Sophomore is when I really started to buckle down because I then began to realize how much volleyball actually means to me. I realized I could actually get somewhere with volleyball I just have to put my all in and ignore anything that was trying to hold me down. I realized with volleyball and my grades that could be my ticket out. Now I am a Junior but we won’t have a season this year because of covid-19.
