Watching the varsity volleyball team win the state championship my freshman year, was the most awe-struck feeling I have ever experienced. Witnessing a repeat title my sophomore year was surreal. My sophomore year was a year of growth for me as a student-athlete mentally and physically. Knowing that I was going to be a part of the upcoming varsity team, helped me to re-focus my efforts on improving my game to the next level. Doing so moves me closer to the goal of being a collegiate athlete.
Through my family, teammates, and coaches, I have been instilled with a greater depth of the importance of teamwork, leadership, optimism, discipline, and perseverance. I have been encouraged and supported in maintaining a positive student-athlete workload. Maintaining good grades, while being a multi-sport athlete involved in various clubs, is very important to me. I hope to keep my good academic success throughout high school and all of college. I’m looking forward to finding a college that will respect my needs athletically and scholarly as well. As a multi-sport athlete, I have learned the importance of time management, a great work ethic, great character, and always keeping my mental health first. I can guarantee that I will bring positive energy to make an immediate impact on your program. These qualities lead me to be confident that I will be a great asset to a collegiate team!
