Sage Duerr '26 Recruiting Profile

Hey! My name is Sage Duerr and I am a 6'1" middle blocker graduating with the class of 2026. I fell in love with volleyball at the age of 9 after my mom signed me up for a small rec. league in our area and I never looked back. I started to play club volleyball in 5th grade with a small team with a few of my past rec. teammates for two years, I then went on to play three years at I.C. Stars Volleyball Club's elite teams for 13-15u. This will be my second year playing at Carolina Juniors Volleyball Club on CJV 17U Mizuno (Elite) and I'm currently in my Junior season on Lake Norman High School's varsity volleyball team, starting MB. I love this sport to death and I always strive to be the best teammate and athlete possible on and off the court. I'm always setting athletic goals for myself and asking for advise from my coaches on how I can improve. Along with this I have a strong love for the academic side of being a student-athlete and I'm always taking the most challenging courses my school offers. I'm so excited to continue playing the sport I love through college while continuing to challenge myself academically.
