To me, volleyball is not just a sport. It is my passion, and it makes me feel alive. I have loved playing volleyball ever since my first lesson. Since then, I have improved my skills and continued to play more and more. The more I have played the sport, the more I want to get better and play at higher levels. That is why I am trying to get recruited to play in college. I want to go to a college that will give me a challenging educational curriculum and allows me to be a part of an outstanding volleyball program. My drive to better my skills and my love for the game will fuel me to play in college. I also want to be a part of something bigger than myself- a team. I am a team player. In my opinion, being a good teammate is more valuable than being the best athlete. I strive to be the best team player possible on and off the court while also working on my academics. I value my education just as much as volleyball. I enjoy taking every opportunity to learn new concepts and improve/maintain my high-grade point average. I am always working on new projects (ex. writing stories or making products to sell) to keep myself challenged and to not waste my time by doing something unproductive. I do my best to use my time wisely while still keeping my mental health balanced and stable. Volleyball is a mental and physical game. I work to refine those aspects of myself every day despite the challenges and obstacles I may face.
