Keli Russell '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Keli.  As a freshman at East Wilkes HS in Ronda, NC this is my first year playing on the JV team.  I have played Volleyball for six years now.  I was coached and trained from year one to play the Libero position which I held until this year.  I believe if a team is made up of players who know how to and are skillful in all positions it will be a strong team.  I am Playing -- this year. It is my plan to be the Libero again next year.  By 2022 when I graduate  and move on to play in College I aim to be as skilled on  front line as I am on back row. 

I practice play and study at 110%.  Which is why I am looking for a college suited for academic excellence with a high appreciation and respect for the sport of Volleyball.  I have a true passion for Volleyball and want to continue to learn in order to become a better player.  I care about results.  To be part of a competitive and skilled team will allow me to strengthen my skill level.  Excellent athlete for my size.  Very coachable.  Willing to give the amount of time it takes to do what ever it takes to be the best I can be at the sport. Always ready for a game. 

I Make good grades. Do not look for nor cause trouble.  A honor roll, though not taking any honor courses yet. Academics and achieving success in my career choice is a must.  Athletics and Volleyball will be walking beside me every step of the way.
