Nicole Wernham '20 Recruiting Profile

As a former competitive hockey and soccer player, I transitioned to volleyball in the 6th grade and have loved the game since that time. Athleticism, versatility and a highly competitive nature are my strongest assets. As a 6 ft Middle, I have had to use these skills and my hard work ethic to maintain my status as a provincial team athlete and starter for a top 5 nationally ranked Canadian team. I am capable of playing multiple positions on the court and always strive to perform at the highest level.  My physical skills have served me well, but my ability to play smart and perform under pressure add significant value.

Apart from family, volleyball and school are the two most important aspects of my life. I take great pride in my academics and am looking for a school that allows me to play the sport I love while focusing heavily on achieving academic success. I plan to study health sciences and I am looking for a school that provides a competitive volleyball program and a healthy student-athlete balance.
