The highlight of my club career was winning Nationals in the American division in 2013. An obstacle I've really had to overcome was Nationals in 2015 when my team lost in the quarter finals when our goal was to win the whole thing. We had been 78-3 all season, with the third loss being that quarter final match. It was discouraging to my teammates and me. It has really caused me to refocus and push myself even harder, and also push my teammates towards that common goal. It has also helped me to realize that I can make those around me better players on and off the court.
My goal as a student-athlete is to achieve my ultimate academic goal of becoming what I'm meant to be in the medical field.
The goal for my athletic career is to enter a college program as a freshman and have an immediate impact on the success of the team.
