Charlotte Wilson '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Charlotte Wilson. I am in the class of 2023, and I am a 6’ opposite player. I will play on the Madfrog 18's National Black team in the 2023 club season as an opposite hitter. I am also an opposite player on the Lovejoy High School varsity team. Lovejoy High School volleyball won the UIL State tournament this year...3 years in a row! 

I love how sports and being active can help develop the whole person; physical, mental, social, intellectual, and emotional. Because of this, I would like to major in education, where I can help serve the community and inspire others.

I am looking for a university and team that will challenge and help me grow in volleyball and academics.  

- I enjoy helping others achieve their best and giving positive encouragement when circumstances become difficult.

- several coaches have told me I have a great work ethic, I am coachable, I am a great teammate, and I have integrity.

- I never give up. I persevere and overcome challenges with a positive attitude.

- I am inclusive and kind. I make sure everyone on the team feels included.

- I am flexible and knowledgeable about each position. If the coach needs me to step into a different position, I can.

- I work hard and practice daily. 

Wanting to improve every time I step on the court motivates me. I want my teammates and myself to have confidence that I will do my part.

  • Charlotte Wilson, Right-Side Hitter, Arete 15 Navy Telos- Wilson has a heavy arm and knows how to use it. She helped propel Arete to 3-0 on the day.
