Hi, my name is Olivia Schofield and I am a senior at Chetek-Weyerhaeuser High School. I have always wanted to play volleyball at the next level whether it was high school ball when I was in middle school or collegiate ball throughout high school. I believe I have the determination, focus, and work ethic to perform at the next level. I am a four year varsity athlete and I was a starter each year. I have played club ever since 6th grade and continue to learn and grow at new things. I have participated in a program called ETS where I strength and speed train. While in-season I go at least twice a week and in the summer months I have been put on their three day workouts while also participating at my strength and speed sessions through my high school. I believe this program has helped me become faster, more agile, stronger(mentally and physically), and it has improved on my vertical.
I am a three sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. I have earned all conference awards for softball, while earning team awards in volleyball and basketball. I try to take every opportunity to become a better teammate and player whether it's on or off the court.
Outside of sports I enjoy hiking, riding horse, skiing, tubing, and organizing. I like to keep myself busy and active. I also live on my family farm which has given me many different kinds of experiences that I have learned from. Those experience allowed me to travel outside my comfort zone and think outside the box to find new solutions. It has also taught me that things aren't just given to you; you have to work for them and go grab them yourself.
