Gaby Garcia '20 Recruiting Profile

My sophomore year, my highschool team won state and with that came tears, love, and a level of happiness I have never experienced before. That experience was even better my junior year when we won state again and felt we did so more as a team. The moment I realized we were 1 of 4 teams that ended their season with a win amazed me. I value my teammates and coaches because without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’ve gained patience through injuries, mental toughness through workouts and losses, leadership skills as a captain, and optimism because positivity helps you move forward. I am looking for a college program that values teamwork, character, and work-ethic. As a captain and two-sport year round athlete that does well academically, I would love to not only help lead my team now, but yours in the future!
