Jocelyn Paredes '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello my names Jocelyn  , and i'm a junior at West Wilkes High school.  I am the only female in my county to wrestling in high school in the season year or 2019-2020 .  I have also been the only female wrestler on my team. I don't just wrestle i am also in the West Wilkes high school marching and concert  band and earned my way to be field commander which is a huge leader ship position other then drum major I've been in band since my 6th grade year . I play soccer as well , i played my 8th grade year and my sophomore year.  

I love what i do because it makes me who i am , all these different things has tough me more and more about life then i ever thought it would have , I've been wrestling for about to be 4 years and it has been amazing. I know I have more then just one family i have brothers that have my back and give me tough love . The band shows me that the work and practice you put in something the way better it will sound , it all links in together and its made me who I am and I sure do thank god for it!
