I have lost 80 pounds since freshman year, and I am currently still losing. I go to every practice and only missed one tournament due to an injury. My freshman year, I only won two matches all together, but this year I was 5th seated at regionals for my area in the 235 weight division.
I have fallen in love with wrestling and I absolutely do not want my wrestling career to stop after high-school. I feel as if I have lots of potential in the future, given how far i’ve progressed. I have lots of heart and I’m not the type of person to give up, even when I was 300 pounds my freshman year and had never done a sport in my life.
