I have been playing football since the age of 4. After years of encouragement by my father I decided to join the wrestling team and give it a try. The hard work I was putting in at the gym becoming an asset on the mat was extremely satisfying. I also enjoy the wrestling culture and sportsmanship. The reason I will be an asset to a college wrestling program is because of my determination, dedication and drive. With me being a dual athlete and playing sports as a team throughout my childhood I understand the importance of a team.
My goals over the next 4 years of my high school career is to continue to improve my skill and my grades. I continue to join clubs and camps as well as go daily to the gym. I understand grades and academics are just as important and will continue to focus.
My academic goals are to do the best I can to succeed. I plan to have a future in health and fitness whether it be a trainer, nutritionist, or a physical therapist.
I have played lacrosse for 6 years prior to switching to wrestling. I am a dual sport athlete currently being first string JV Center and outside linebacker. I continue to wrestle with club at my current weight of 170. I would like to wrestle in the Spring at 160lbs.
