Wrestling has given me confidence and strength- both physical and mental. I have been wrestling since age ten, and was pulled up to the High School Varsity team when I was in 8th grade. I work hard on the mat each day to sharpen my skills, to become the collegiate wrestler I know I can be. In addition to my school team Coaches, I have been training privately with several well-respected and highly-skilled private coaches from Long Island. My coaches say I have a high "wrestling IQ" and I am very coachable. I am a well-rounded athlete in many ways. In addition to wrestling, I also played lacrosse since I was five (LSM and defense) and played on the Ward Melville High School JV Team in 9th and 10th grades. As a Junior, I have become laser-focused on Wrestling.
I have maintained a 91 or above overall average since Junior HS. I am in several AP/ Honor's classes. I am interested in a Pre-Law Program, as my long-term career goal is to be an attorney. I am uncertain what area of Law i will ultimately pursue, but am also considering a Business major, as I consider a career in Business Law.
I am excited to see what opportunities are ahead of me, and I believe that I have the skills and character it takes to be a College Wrestler and successful Student Athlete not only in High School but through my higher education as well.
