Personal Statement

Hello my name is Isaac Hernandez and I attend at Monticello High School in New York. I started wrestling at the varsity level my 7th grade year and continued with it ever since. I come from a school where wrestling is looked at poorly and the goal I had was to put my school back on the map. I love the sport of wrestling and wish to continue my career at the college level. I set high goals for myself and thrive to achieve them. Any obstacles that approach my path, I always find a way to overcome them. You hear everyone say that they are the hardest worker in the room but trust me when I say that I am the hardest worker in the wrestling room, I truly am. I give every practice and match my all, as if it's my last.  I work my tail off to make a name for myself. I also know how to be respectful to others and when it is the right time to be serious during situations. I strongly believe that I am the wrester that you need on your team, you would not regret it.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
