My name is Brady Judd. I am presently a Junior at Warwick Valley High School in Warwick, New York. I have been wrestling for the past ten years, and from early on I knew I wanted to wrestle at the collegiate level. I know that wrestling in college is a once in a life opportunity that takes a certain individual. Being self-driven, I have never shied away from a challenge and will do whatever it takes to be successful. I pride myself on my work-ethic in being the hardest worker in the wrestling room as well as in the classroom. I have been a varsity wrestler since 8th grade. I placed 4th at Sections in my Freshman year and during my sophomore season, I was a Section IX runner-up and a state qualifier. Recently, I was named captain for my Junior year, and I look forward to being a leader both on and off the mat. During my Junior season, I became a Section IX Champion as well as a 2X NYS Qualifier. In the classroom, I carry a full schedule of honors, AP, and college level classes, while maintaining a 4.0+ GPA. I understand the balance it takes between academic and athletics, as I was named a three time NYSPHSAA scholar-athlete as well as a two time US Army Academic All American, and believe I will be an asset to a college program. Through this great sport, I have learned a lot about myself. Wrestling will teach you more about life and the determination in your heart and mind more than all other sports combined.
