My name is Jacob Lesley, I am currently a senior at Easley high school (class of 2021). I am a 5’10 160 pound dual sport student-athlete in wrestling and football. My goal is to pursue wrestling at the college level. I have been wrestling since 7th grade. I am passionate and dedicated to the sport. I spend hours outside of normal practice time working hard to improve my skills as a wrestler. I believe what separates me from other wrestling recruit’s is that I am dedicated to improving myself athletically and academically. This quality makes me a very coachable athlete. I strive to be an encourager and leader for my team. I learned at an early age how to persevere in difficult circumstances. I was diagnosed with dyslexia in the 5th grade. This is not a disability as many think; however, it has actually given me the ability to face adversities and overcome them. These characteristics make me the perfect candidate for a college team. I do not have a college preference at this time, but any opportunity given to me would not be wasted.
