Hi, my name is Hanalei Warren and Iʻm from Hilo, Hawaiʻi, where I currently attend Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi High School and will graduate in 2021. My post high school goals are to attend college in order to continue my career in baseball, and pursue an education in Natural Sciences. As an athlete, I will be able to benefit the team by being a team player and leader who will help the team improve and progress as one. Iʻm also a utility player that allows me the versatility to play anywhere on the field and helps me to fill any position that is needed. With a determined mindset I am able to be easily coached which will allow myself as well as the team to improve. I am punctual which ensures that I complete the task at hand on time. Off the field some attributes that I have is being able to get along with others and allows me to be a team player instead of playing for myself. By being a dependable person I am easily trusted and it is easy for people to count on me to fulfill the needs of my team. Athletically I am very competitive and would like to compete at any level beyond the high school stage. Outside of baseball I lead a very active lifestyle to stay healthy, including surfing, fishing, and hunting. My work ethic both on and off the field allows me to reach the highest potential in both academics and athletics, and I ensure that academics is my priority.
