Having started my Senior year of High School September 2020 is not what I thought is was going to be, after quarantine in my Junior year and all sports being cancelled it was a devastating loss for so many of us young athletes. Now with our new routine of Hybrid learning I am just hoping that we will be able to have a season this year, how great it would be to get to play ball in my senior year.
I have been playing organized baseball from the age of 5 and I feel so for a better word at home when I take the field. In my past two seasons in travel ball I have played up in the 18U league. I am a starting 2nd baseman and back up shortstop.
I have a true love for this game, for as long as I can remember I have wanted to play on the college level.
I understand that being a leader does not mean hitting the game winning homer or striking out the side but being there for teammates, encouraging everyone and offering advice when needed. I believe character and leadership skills are what makes a well rounded ball player and I feel I can step in help a team! I believe I have the talent and work ethic as well as leadership skills to make a positive impact with a college team.
