Xavier Simon '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Xavier Simon. I am currently a high school student athlete that has the dreams of playing at the collegiate level. I completely have understanding of how many other athletes out there have the same hopes, dreams, and intentions as I do which helps me stay humble through out this process. I have the knowledge to realize that if you want something you're gonna have to work harder than the guy next to you and this saying is exactly what helps me get to where I wanna be in life which is why I am willing to strive through the pain and put in the work. Coming from a small town called Fairbanks in the state of Alaska isn't a place where you typically see athletes come from, which is why I can understand why it would be such a risk to recruit someone like me but that is what makes me different because my back round i don't see very many kids that make it or even want too.  All I am looking for is an opportunity to prove everyone wrong who does't believe I make it which means if i have to start from the bottom I will. With all of this said that would be my motivation to work so hard because I am from where i'm from and just like myself there are many top athletes in the state that can make it. I have excelled in other sports besides football which is track and going into my junior season I already have a 4x1 and 4x2 relay state title under my name.  I am ready for the journey of the college experience.
