In 7th grade, basketball helped me get through the hardest time in my life. I had just moved to a new school and was having trouble finding not only new friends, but myself. That summer, I attended my first basketball camp and found my passion. I was able to take every feeling I had and dump it into my game. Since then, I have created a work ethic and mindset that I believe will get me to the collegiate level. I have commit the last 4 years of my life to growing my basketball skills and I don't plan to stop any time soon.
The biggest learning experience I have gone through in high school is losing in the state championship game my sophomore year. Not only did it give me more motivation to get back to that game next year, but it taught me that you never know how hard your competition is working. I firmly believe that you get out what you put in, and that is why I spend so much time every single day getting shots up and playing games with my teammates. We want success, and we know hard work will get us there.
