Killian Burr '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Killian Burr and I am in the class of 2025. While I aspire to have a future in athletics at the collegiate level, I am also interested in a quality education.  Furthering my knowledge and my education is very important to me and my family.  I plan on pursuing a Master’s Degree and career in architecture. 

I feel my diversity in sports and my leadership abilities are what makes me stand out from my peers in athletics.  I am a four sport athlete (football, basketball, baseball, track).  I played Varsity football, baseball, and track as a Freshman in highschool. I currently play four different positions on my Varsity football team (WR, FS, LS, and CB ).  I am viewed as a team leader by my coaches and by my teammates.  I try to encourage perseverance and a positive attitude regardless of the opponent.  I was the Freshman class President and I am an active member of the Strength Club, Debate Team, and Student Council. I also enjoy other activities such as, lifting weights, surfing, skimboarding, and snowboarding.

I feel my character and work ethic also set me apart from most peers my age both in and outside of athletics.  I have maintained a 3.25 GPA while working 2 part time jobs.  I work on  Blu’s DayLilly Farm doing various forms of manual labor such as mowing, weedeating, mulching, etc.  I also umpire youth baseball games and plan on refereeing youth football and basketball games in the near future.  I am a hard worker and  take pride in my work both on and off the field. Having integrity is something I feel is very important in all areas of life.
