Nevaeh Hairston '22 Recruiting Profile

Some of my goals are receiving a bachelor's degree and being involved in my community at college. I am a good candidate for the team because I am a leader and a motivational person. I've always motivated my teams before games and meets and I set examples for the players that come in the next year. I am different because I am a determined person and when things don't go my way or I don't win that game or meet I'm not the type of person to let it bring me down, it only makes me more determined to push myself next time to excel. I was not always a strong person in athletics but as I got older and the longer I've done the sport, I have grown, not only as a player but as a person. I have always excelled in academics. I wanted the best for myself so I would study all night long and go to school exhausted the next day just to receive an "A".
