From early on in my life, I loved the game of basketball. By focusing on my weaknesses, I have constantly improved as a player. I have always been able to listen to what a coach is telling me, then apply it during practices and games. This is something I hope to apply to a team in college; the ability to understand and apply what a coach is telling me to do. Along with training to improve my game, I also do things independently, like ball handling drills or making hundreds of shots a day. My hard work and desire to become a better player is something that I will bring to any team. My passion for the game is something I have had on every team I have been on. Also, I have a strong desire to make my teammates better. I'm open to playing at a 4 year school in any division. Most importantly, I am looking for a more selective academic school that could be a good fit.
Academically, I have always challenged myself with harder courses, and I have succeeded. My average for sophomore year is a 103.5, and I put as much effort into my schoolwork as I do in basketball. I am a member of several honor societies. Also, I work for the youth basketball camp in my village.
