Jason Lebson '22 Recruiting Profile

     I am a Pg/Sg from Long Island, New York. I have been playing basketball all my life and I am constantly working harder every day to make my dream of playing college basketball come true. My work ethic is very strong on and off the basketball court. My determination, focus, and constant drive to always be better are just a few characteristics that could be used to describe me. I know these skills will make me a college basketball player, along with being a leader for my teammates. 

     I always give 110% committed to my workouts, coaches, and most of all my teammates. I have had a lot of success so far in my high school career. I was the captain for both the Freshman and JV team. In addition, I won MVP both years as well. I am now hoping I can continue my basketball career at Syosset High School and play my last two years of  high school on the varsity team. Over the summer I worked on my game everyday, along with putting in work in the weight room and getting stronger. 

     This is the first year I have participated in AAU. I am currently playing for the team Long Island Boys2Men. So far this year we have participated in the October Jam Fest and the Electric City shootout which located in Pennsylvania. Along with basketball, school is also very important to me. I am a very conscientious student. I am always making sure that my schoolwork is done the right way and correctly before any of my after school activities. I also manage my time very well, which is one of the main reasons why I have the grades that I have.
