Dylan Steed '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Christ the King Catholic High School (CTK) in Huntersville, NC.  I am 6'2” and currently 155 lbs.  This is my first year at this school as a transfer student.   I spent the last 3 years as a starter at Central Cabarrus High School in Concord, NC.  I am a starting guard on the varsity team at CTK playing for Coach Clapp.  I played for him on the AAU circuit for many years as well.  I love the game of basketball.  I am passionate and competitive and look forward to finishing my senior year of high school as a key member and leader of our varsity team contributing in any way I can.  I have a high basketball IQ, a strong 3 point shot, excellent passing skills and am a team player.  I would love to attend a college or university where I can contribute and make that team stronger as a key role player.  I am open to all possibilities.  I plan on pursuing a degree in Sports Medicine or Exercise Science.  I enjoy sports and healthcare.  I also work part time at our local indoor sports center, Carolina Courts as a scorekeeper (on hold during COVID) while balancing sports and maintaining a 3.1 GPA.  I enjoyed running varsity cross country for 2 years in the off season.  I also enjoy playing golf, video games and hanging out with my friends and family in my spare time.
