I love sports as they bring out the very best in me! have loved the game of basketball since the age of 2 or 3 years old when I got my very first toddler basketball goal for Christmas. I took my little basketballs everywhere I went, even to bed at night! My Father was a high school basketball star, and after a injury went on ton become a coach and a state referee. He was my mentor and I learned so much from him, as he helped coach and encourage me along the way until his recent untimely passing. I joined my first league at the age of 4 and I have been the top player for various leagues in my community. Currently I play basketball with Juice Allstars AAU team in Raleigh, and I attend Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy an early college program whose sports are connected to Broughton HS where I am also on the Football team. I also work with youth by volunteering at the YMCA and refereeing part time with Triangle Officials. I am very teachable and I love to learn as much as I can, as it makes room for consistent personal and professional growth. I am naturally a team player and I understand that a team mentality is a true win for all. My future plans and goals are to further my education at a Division 1 College that will help advance me towards my career goals in sports, and inflict a positive impact on the younger generations to come.
