I have been wishing to join the Navy since I was in elementary school, and this pushes me in everything I do. I want to be the best at all that i can be so I can be prepared for all the hardships that come with achieving my Dream. My collegiate Athletic goal is to swim at or under 55 seconds on my 100 free time and 25 seconds on my 50 Free time. I aspire to be a reliably scoring competitor and a helpful friend to all my teammates.
I am a good candidate for any team because I will not let myself or anyone on the team stay the weakest, slowest or worst member. I am unafraid of a challenge or looking weak if it means trying new things. Outside of athleticism, I use the many skills i've learned from tutoring and running small group meetings to encourage my classmates to succeed, and bring those same skills to help my teammates in and out of the pool. I am different from other recruits because I have a deep drive to achieve my goal and will always try to overcome any obstacle in my way, I play more than one sport NCHAA sport, do recreational Sports outside of that, as well as endurance and strength training to help with my performance. I have been going to a Middle though high school early college program since 2018 and have not let the advanced academics or sports affect each other. I am at the top of my class in academics and easily within the top 10 for athletics.
