Jadin Merritt '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to play basketball for a team-oriented, successful program. I bring versatility, speed, accuracy and good character.  I believe that when my teammates look good and do well, so do I. I am a great passer and I lead my team in freethrow percentage.  I am fundamentally sound but am also looking to improve. I also feel that I am quite coachable and eager to learn and grow. I haven't reached my full potential but when I do, I believe I will be unstoppable.

My character is also a huge asset. I don't like discord or a lot of arguing, but I do like to make my point. I like to have fun, but take playing and achieving in all areas of life very seriously. I am usually reserved and low key. I don't have to be loud in order for people to know I'm there. I have a great work ethic on and off the court and strive to maintain a strong academic standing. I want to attend a college which prepares me for a solid future. Naturally I would like to play at the next level, but I definitely want to be prepared for the challenges life has in store for me if that dream is not attained.
