Hello,
I am Alex Bilbruck, a 6'6" High School Junior. I am currently playing the forward and post position for my High School Team. I am also attending as many camps as I can to continue to work on my ball handling and shooting skills. I am committed to doing whatever it takes to continue to improve my game in all facets. I go in early to work with coaches on footwork and positioning in the post, and I stay late to work on taking defenders off the dribble, perimeter shooting and passing. I believe actions speak louder than words, anyone can say they want to get better, but few are willing to put in the work that is necessary. I have learned a lot about college athletes and the drive and dedication it takes to succeed at that level from my older sister who is currently playing college volleyball. I am looking for a college that is the best fit for me both athletically and academically as I strive to be the best I can possibly be not only on the court but off the court. My parents have always told me that if I want to go further in this sport I have to be a student of the game. I am constantly watching film of great players, trying to incorporate some of those skills into my game. I have been described as too much of a team player at times, but I believe keeping everyone on the court involved in the game betters our chances of winning.
