I have played and excelled at several sports in my life, but only one made me want to be the best I could be. I love the sport of hockey and plan to continue to play it, at some level, throughout my life. My goal is to play for a D-I or D-III NCAA College and earn a degree in either law, or engineering. I know the recruiting process is tough, but I am committed to take every step possible in order for me to reach my goal.
I pride myself on being the hardest worker at practice, because when I am in a situation in a game, I know I will outwork my opponents. I am very athletic, fast, strong, and have good endurance. I have also been told by my previous coaches that I am very coach-able, a good listener, and a good teammate.
I do realize that my academics are very important, which pushes me to keep my grades up and do the best I can in school every single day. Balancing school and hockey can be difficult at times, but I am able to handle it because I know I have to do this, especially if I want to play college hockey. I've had a lot of obstacles thrown my way in life, but I am driven, dedicated, and with this mindset, I know it will help me reach my goals of playing and competing at the college level.
Thank you for your time.
