Michael Hodgkiss '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Michael Hodgkiss and I am a junior at Deer Park High School in New York. I first started playing golf right before my freshman year and the second I joined the team I knew I would love this sport. As a freshman I was the captain of the JV team and ended my freshman season 8-2. My Sophmore year I became the #1 on Varsity and named the captain and I have been ever since. With my three years of playing high school golf my personal record is 20-10.When I am at practice with my team I always am worried about myself and how I can improve myself but whenever I have down time I am always looking to improve my team mates when its either their swing or just mentally when it comes to golf or just life in general, which is something that I don’t think everyone can bring to a team.
