Hello, my name is Nicholas Howard, but most people call me Cole for short. I've been playing golf most of my life, but I didn't get the fire and drive to start playing tournament golf until I was 13. I've played competitive golf for the last 3 years and have enjoyed going out to different courses and learning to play better. I’m a team player, and I enjoy working and playing with others. I’m very coachable, and I pick up on new things very quickly.
My goal is to attend college, earn an education, and play golf at a high level. I believe I have a lot to offer, and I have not yet reached my full potential. I want an opportunity to help a program WIN. I continue to work hard on my swing, and I have a strong work ethic. My short-term goal is to win a couple of big tournaments by the end of my senior year. If I can take it just a little bit further after college, my goal is to turn Pro.
Also, a little fun fact, I am the first student to complete the entire Operation36 program. I have passed all the yardage goals, and I have completed their 6 Level curriculum. I continue to participate in classes, helping our Instructor and mentoring younger students. I've learned a lot about myself and what it takes to play at a high level. This has been a great experience.
Thank you for considering me as your next Student-Athlete.
