My name is Briay Perez and I started playing soccer at 2 years old and its always been my passion but it really didn't kick in till the age of 6 where I knew exactly what I wanted to be and that's to be a professional soccer player. My story is a unique one I played rec until I was 8 and I told my parents that I wanted more competition so I did my own research and found a club by the name of JUSA and started playing Club soccer since then. When I got into High school I made varsity as a freshman and when I found that out I was worried I would just be on the bench but it was the complete opposite I started every game over seniors as a freshman all throughout my high school career Ive been captain of the team since my sophomore year. Ive put a lot of hard work into my craft as a player and its payed of as I've gotten named all Conference 3 years in a row, MVP 2 years in a row, I was on the newspaper twice, and I was featured as a player to watch on Sincsports for a big tournament.Playing soccer is something that I love its my passion and the desire to win is what pushes me to become a better player each and every day. Im willing to put in as much work as I need to so I can reach the next level, you will never hear an excuse from me.
