I have been playing hockey since I was four years old. Since I first stepped on the ice 10 years ago, I am working hard to play at a college level or even make it to the big league. I know that playing in college could change my whole life.
I have strong stick handling skills and shot, high hockey IQ , and am very good at using and playing the body. I try to be a team leader by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and likable with a strong determination to try and be my best every time I am on the ice. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and fastest skater every practice and game.
I work hard year round on my hockey skills, eager to get on the ice whenever I can. Over the past year, I have been sculpting my skills as an offensive defenseman with my coach, Neil Runbeck. I have been watching Cale Maker, trying to replicate and perfect his edge work skills to implement them in my game. By the end of this year, I want to have accomplished 3 goals. 1) Make it to nationals with my team, 2) Get interest from Prep or Academy Schools, 3) Make it to National camp. All of these goals are attainable which I will work my hardest to accoplish.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the ice. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA 4.0. I finish all my work on time and try my hardest in all subjects and aspects of school. In the off season I play Lacrosse, Mtn Bike & Golf.
My sister played D1 as goalie at RPI, My grandfather in Canada played D1 at Clarkson then played for the Checkers and farm league under Toronto Maple Leafs
