I started playing lacrosse at age 10. I was the top Sophomore scorer in Section 2 in 2019 and top 10% of all scorers. I was chosen as MVP for my High School team. I am an aggressive two way midfielder. I play for Albany Top Tog travel and also off season train with Albany Power. I work on my strength, speed and agility with Build Two Win. I also play football and was given the Falcon award for Sports/Academics /Sportsmanship in Fall of 2019. I was chosen to represent my school at a recent Section 2 leadership conference.
Academically I have challenged myself in scheduling advanced math and science along with multiple AP classes.
I work as a lifeguard and instruct swim lessons for children from age 2-8. I have also volunteered with the Mohawk-Hudson Humane Society.
During this time of closure I have continued to work hard on my lacrosse skills. I am working on my rebounder and net daily focusing on my off hand. I am running and doing agility workouts. I am planning and purposefully working toward coming out of this period of shut down as a stronger athlete. Academically I am making sure to keep up with the on line platforms that I have been provided so that my grades continue to be an area of performance as well.
Due to the pandemic I, along with my parents, made the decision to reclassify and transfer to a local private school for improved opportunities academically and athletically. Since starting at the Albany Academies in September 2020 my overall GPA has increased, my study habits have further improved and I have been provided challenges to develop my leadership skills.
