I was fortunate enough to get introduced to the game of lacrosse at an early age. At six years old, I traded my baseball glove in for a lacrosse stick and never looked back. I love the game and everything it stands for. It truly is my passion. My name is Gavin Duggan. I’m a right handed midfielder with quick feet, an accurate shot and a unique ability to get my teammates involved. For my first couple of years, what I lacked in size I made up for in heart and hustle. No longer the shortest guy out there, I have kept the same approach and continue to play the game with the highest intensity. Lacrosse has made me a better person not only on the field but off as well. The mental toughness and discipline that is needed has spilled over into the classroom and has made me a better student. College is absolutely in my near future. Hopefully I can take my talents to the next level. I want to take this opportunity to thank all my coaches both past and present. You have instilled something in me that will never be forgotten. Last but certainly not least, to the game of lacrosse. It’s been such an exciting journey. Look forward to what lies ahead.
