I am a driven and hard working student-athlete who aspires to be a collegiate lacrosse player, as well as a hardworking student. I have played lacrosse since I was very young and have never taken a break. As a defenseman I have a high lacrosse IQ and know when to be a team player and when to strike at the right moment. I will be a team player unless instructed otherwise and will do what is best for the team and of course, I will do whatever I can to win within the rules of the game because of the respect I have for it. I am extremely thankful for the opportunities that have come to me as I am a starter on the Orange Crush Lacrosse Club for the past four years, and have played in the New York Regional Championship the past three years for the central region, as well as the New York Upstate Games in 2020-2021 where I was named an All-Tournament all-star twice. I am a Maverik Showtime 2022 invitee Was named an all-star at the D3 National Showcase, I was also named one of the top four defenseman at the Austin Pifani defenseman showcase with a write up on the Apex Lacrosse website (it will be featured on my page).
Although my high-school season was cut short last year due to COVID-19, I was already named a starter as a freshman and put in the work in the off season to get there. I was also called up to play for my JV lacrosse team as an eighth grader. This year New Hartford went 11-5 and we lost in the second round of playoffs to Jamesville-Dewitt. I was named a starter for the team and was awarded as a Tri Valley first-team all-star. I am blessed to have the opportunity to be coached by my father for varsity lacrosse and have his wisdom on and off the field to improve my lacrosse IQ. During quarantine, I have improved my athletic ability as well as overall lacrosse skill by going to lacrosse trainers such as Ric Beardsley, as well as going to my local gym, Prime Movement and Performance 6 days a week. Prime Fitness is a cross-fit style gym where I have become stronger, faster, bigger and better through their athlete program. I always liked school, because at New Hartford Central School district I have always been pushed to my highest potential and have been told that I can achieve my goals through hard work and perseverance. Last year as a freshman I ended the year with a 95 overall unweighted average and a 96 overall weighted (Both 4.0) because I had taken honors Global History and English last year. I got high honor roll all four quarters and in my sophomore year nothing has changed. At the end of the school year I have a 96 overall unweighted (97 weighted) average. I attend Computer Science Club as well as Captains Council, which has taught me how to take charge and lead a team of people as well as help people learn and improve their weak points, including my own. I took AP Bio Prep this past year and I am taking three AP classes; AP Psychology, AP US History, and AP English Language.
I'm looking for a University where I can find a good balance between academic and athletic responsibilities. I am looking for a college that has an excellent academic reputation in my preferred field of Business (specifically finance). my ideal athletic environment would be where I can make an immediate impact for the team!
