I fell in love with lacrosse when I was 9. I love lacrosse because of the overall team atmosphere, along with the creativity and physicality that the sport allows you to have along with the teamwork that the sport requires. I started playing youth lacrosse and I have always loved scoring, however I was always a midfielder because of my speed and athletic ability. I started playing attack when I was 12 and I immediately knew that it was the right position for me. I started playing club lacrosse when I was in fifth grade for 3D Rhode Island, then 3D partnered with the University of Brown to form the "3D Bears" which I played for in sixth and seventh grade. Once the team was disbanded I had trouble finding a club program to play for, I began weight training in 8th grade and hit a growth spurt that same year causing me to fill into a much larger frame then I was used to, I spent a lot of time running and playing lacrosse to try to adjust to my body and I'm very glad that I did. Covid-19 hit when I was finishing up my eighth grade year, making it even more difficult to find club teams. I found Blaze Lacrosse in the fall of 2020 and because my fall football season was canceled, I was able to play fall lacrosse against sophomores, juniors and seniors to see where I stacked up in High School lacrosse. I was very successful on this team and I learned a lot from my coaches and teammates that would prepare me for my spring high school season. Although my Spring Lacrosse season was shortened due to Covid-19, I had a very successful season. I recorded 27 goals and 21 assists in 12 games and had a school record 9 assists in a game. My sophomore year I improved greatly, beginning training the winter before playing box lacrosse with the RI Bulldogs and roots lacrosse helped me do so. I was chosen as a team captain and finished the season with 58 goals and 30 assists along with an academic all state selection. This year I plan to take my game to another level, I spent the summer and fall playing with the RI Bulldogs 2024 Black team, playing in many competitive tournaments exposing me to a whole world of lacrosse that I embraced with open arms. This past fall season my team competed in 3 tournaments, winning every game except for a tie resulting in us being ranked the 12th best 2024 club team in the country by USClubLacrosse.com on November 18th.
