As a student-athlete looking to row in college, the qualities I possess are those that would greatly encourage my teammates and help lead the team to many victories. I am a big believer in "no excuses". That means that if I set a goal for myself to say do a certain workout one day, I better make sure I complete that task or else I feel like I left myself down. Yet, I don't let that get me down or impinge me from getting everything out of me. The next day, I move on and focus on the things I need to complete for that day plus more because I missed the day before. In addition to my hard work, I love to encourage my fellow teammates to get the most out of themselves as well, whether that is giving tips on techniques or just a little extra motivation on the water. My main goals for the recruiting process are to not only be recruited by a well-rounded, competitive school, but also fully commit myself to learning all aspects the school that I am talking with through communication and research. This allows me to know exactly what college offers me what I am looking for and that I am attending a college that I know I will be happy at.
