I am driven by an unyielding passion for the sport and a sincere ambition to succeed at the collegiate level. I have invested countless hours into refining my rowing technique and increasing my endurance, making me confident that I possess both the talent and commitment necessary to make a valuable contribution to your program. My college objectives are deeply rooted in achieving excellence. My dream is to be part of a championship-level team, striving hard beyond what is expected of me every day. To achieve this goal, I deem myself capable of immediately making an impact on performance with consistent high level returns during practice as well as competitions. On top of athletics, academic success remains paramount to me. Having the understanding that rowing is not purely about competition but also about growth on an individual basis drives me even further towards working diligently while managing my time between training and competing efficiently with my academic requirements, which will enable successful results in class alongside achievements on water. What differs me from other recruits is never being contented with being average. I always strive for greatness so I focus on self-improvement. I am enthusiastic to learn something new or have different challenges present themselves to me, improving me further developmentally as I turn them into opportunities. My athletic proficiency is focused around strong work ethic as well as my scholastic abilities.
