My name is Logan Hoover; I am a 18-year-old freshman at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. I have been playing all types of sports since I was 5 years old, but my passion is soccer. It has always been my dream to attend a university as a student and to play soccer and pursue the possibility of playing professional soccer one day.
Currently I am training on the varsity team at Briar Cliff university and I was able to play 95 minutes in 6 season games as a centerback, outside back and defensive mid. I have enjoyed my training with Briar Cliff and would like to continue playing competitive soccer at the university level in the United States or Canada.
I have attached my soccer and sports resume below which highlights my skills, teams and competitions I have participated in over the years. I have also set up a YouTube Channel in which I have 2 highlight tapes for my 2018 and 2019 soccer seasons and a few games I have played in those years. I will be uploading some of my Briar Cliff footage as soon as it is available, please continue to check my YouTube site for those games.
Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic has not permitted me to play a whole lot of soccer games in 2019/2020 season, but I continued practicing with my 2003 Warriors Soccer team through the summer / fall months and have been playing boarded indoor soccer with the Warriors Men's team at the Edmonton Premier level since October 2020. I have also been working with a personal trainer / physiotherapist to keep in shape physically.
I am also registered with the NCAA Eligibility Centre and my ID # is 2101992460. I have also been looking at possible ID camps and will be making a decision on camps to attend in the spring as soon as travel restrictions between Canada and the US have been lifted.
My 2 highlight tapes and full game footage can be found on my YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJIRBjwYRQW8nIvY6wZ8B_g
