When I first found the ball at my feet at the age of five I knew that soccer was for me. Ever since I've played soccer learned many skills that this sport brings such as how to work as a team and how to communicate with others. Other than enhancing social skills and being able to work with others , soccer has brought out a characteristic of leadership that has helped me on and off the field.Every game I play is taken as a new challenge.I use the competiveness from soccer on a day to day school environment. The more I practice the better I hope to become and all the hard work will pay off in a winning game. I use the "Practice makes perfect" saying in my day to day school assignments. In order to get better at school I have to practice by doing my homework and assignments because that is the practice I need for all my test and exams.Soccer has taught me the fact that you should never give up no matter what. Playing a sport that has numerous amount of factors to determine a winner has taught me resiliency. Some times I might not score or win the game but the sportsmanship and the ethics I have learned from soccer are important off the pitch as well. This sport has made me learn to take risk on and off the field ; because in order to reach your goals you must always take risk.
