Charlie Mundy '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Charlie Mundy. I am a student athlete, and my desire is to play soccer at the collegiate level. I am 16 years old and a junior at Burlington Christian Academy, in North Carolina. I play at the Elite level for Carolina Velocity U18 and Premier UK 04 under outstanding high level coaches from the UK.  I play Right Back, and can also play as a Center Back. I am a strong defender, by attacking the ball and using my agility to control it out of the back. We use a high press offense through fast breaks and aggressive defense.   I am continuing to be a leader on and off the field because of my passion for the game.  

My current Elite head coach Ross Klinefelter: recently wrote this about my physical play:  “You have the physique and attributes of many elite players. You possess explosive pace which is the biggest weapon in football. You are strong, agile, well balanced and coordinated as well as brave and aggressive in the tackle. You have a low centre of gravity which enables you to get out of tight areas with and without the ball.”
