Volleyball has been my passion since I entered the 6th grade and has only continued to grow since then. Watching myself grow with the sport has been one of the highest accomplishments I've ever done. From a sixth grader who can barely throw a ball over the net to an 11th grader in High School jump serving, only reminds me that anything I set my mind to, I can accomplish. I've recently decided to further my passion for volleyball by playing in college and hopefully get recruited by a school that fits my career and my volleyball interests. Although this is my junior year playing for my high school, I've already stepped into the leadership role. Four of our seniors have left this year, and as the setter of my team, I have no other choice but to take on the role. Throughout my High School career, I've played opposite, outside hitter, middle blocker, setter, and right back passer. I'm a dynamic player and understand my role on and off the court. I can play multiple positions, and I'm loud and energetic on and off the court. I understand that I represent a team through my words and actions, and strive to do my best in everything I do. Volleyball is a privilege and I'm honored that God has given me the pleasure of playing for 6 years and counting and am grateful that he's allowing me to continue my volleyball career.
