Hi, I’m Casey and I am a 2023 goalkeeper from Charlotte, NC. I attend a competitive Charlotte Country Day School and have a 3.6 GPA along with taking AP US History, AP Human Geography, and AP English Language.
I hope to continue to enjoy the sport I love at the next level and improve my skill level far beyond what it is now. My most valuable skill is my ability to adapt to tough or uncertain situations with ease and pick up new skills or material quickly. I am a person who loves to be out on the field as it is a place for me to be myself and take away from other stresses of my life. I am a great learner and very bright in the classroom who suceeds no matter the difficulty of the class or situation.
I started playing goalkeeper in 8th grade and my skill level rose very quickly, learning behind a junior and a senior my freshman year and making varsity my sophomore year. My strongest trait as a goalkeeper is my communication and leadership. I would also say my handling and technique are very strong. I am quite fearless and always look to be aggressive in goal.
